The Houlihan Narratives
Hosted by Amy Skinner, The Houlihan Narratives began as a live story-telling event held in the small mountain town of Lander, Wyoming. The stories are true as told by the speakers, their vulnerability offered in exchange for the respectful listening ears of the community.
Each event is tied to a theme and invites community members to present in front of a live audience.
We often hear ourselves in the stories of others. And while Lander is our town, it's also every town. You're going to hear yourself, your neighbors, and your friends in these stories. And you - the listener - are an essential part of this. Stories gain their power by being told. And heard.
We believe in the power of stories. The power to move us, challenge us, heal us, inspire us, and unite us.
